Finally. I love these shorts. They are compression shorts with great padding (orange padding). The waist comes to the waist in the back and on the sides, but has a V cut at the navel. They are comfy and don't ride up. I tried the Attack pants and wore a size small (5'2", 124 pounds). The medium is perfect in these. So...order up a size if you're uncertain. I'd say these are a more serious pair of pants...better for long rides, 20+ miles...than Attack (blue padding). I ride a lot and am very pleased. I thought they'd be too long on my thigh as I'm short, but they're fine.
